I know it’s not Easter time, but when my rabbit was out in the yard, I couldn’t help but try and get a picture of him.  He’s adorable, isn’t he?  He reminds me of Easter and rejoicing everytime I see him!

What does your heart reflect?

Does it reflect the love you have for Christ or the bitterness of the past hurts? As I was away in a seminar this past week I kept trying to control myself from the past hurts of family and found myself saying things I didn’t want to say and didn’t want to spew out from my mouth.  Now I know God forgives me and he knows my heart– He knows how hard I tried to control my attitude, but others don’t.   I pray that I can exemplify HIS heart instead of my own and that I can move past the issues I so deeply fight against.  I so deeply want to yell HELP!  I realize I relied too much on myself this past week instead of going to HIM while I was fighting my battles.  How I long to redo it — though I can’t.  And I know I can’t, so I need to suck it up and move forward.  Can you guys please pray for me to be able to do that?

So, when this verse came up I wante it to be my prayer for this week — Lord, I pray that my heart will reflect you instead of myself.

An important announcement about WFW before I post mine:

I’ve been in prayer of WFW for the past week or so and have some changes I am wanting to make.
When I started WFW in 2006 I prayed for God to take control of it.  I told him I didn’t care if  anyone ever read my blog that I would honor him by giving my art to him and for him.   When I met Elisa and she had this idea in her head I took flight with it and just enjoyed my devotional time doing WFW’s.  If someone happened on my site and got to see it — great!  It was for His glory!
And now 4 years later I am at awe of what the Lord has done with WFW and yet I can see it moving more towards HIM and for HIM.  He is still the focus of it.
So, with that intro,
I’ve decided to move WFW to be hosted at Internet Cafe Devotions. I am honored to be asked to have it over there, and believe this will help further God’s presence on the net that I simply can not do on my blog alone.  I will still be hostessing it and running it with Lori, but it will be over there instead of having it passed around to be hosted on different sites.  I really feel that having a central site will help people feel more confident in visiting it and will compliment their devotions just as it’s complimented all of our sites!    I have struggled with doing this because I love each and everyone of my hostesses and they have given me great reprieve over the past year when I was struggling with where God wanted me to go with this meme for HIM.  I believe having this at Internet Cafe Devotions will bring glory to him and have a further reach and how can I say no to that?  I mean  It’s about HIM and not about me right?
I am praying fervently that God will Bless this if he wants it to succeed.. I”m praying for  HIS will and that he will have full control over where it should be.  Not to worry if you forget, I’ll still be posting it my WFW here as well!   I’m addicted to sharing HIS Word, what can I say.  So starting the first week in June it will be at Internet Cafe Devotions.

I hope that doesn’t confuse anyone!  Please feel free to ask any questions if you have them, and I’ll happily respond!

The word prayer is mentioned 117 times in the Bible.  It’s an important thing for us to do — it’s how we communicate with God and have a relationship.  Without it we are stale.

So more than just a picture today, I want to give you a little gift.  I call it a prayer tree.  You can print it out and put it somewhere so you can remember to pray for your friends and family!

I pray my boys will be more than just blood related brothers.  I pray that they will be BLOOD brothers.  United through the blood of Jesus Christ.  I pray that their friendship will go beyond just looking like each other, but they will know that their bonds are through Jesus and that HE alone is our Savior!.  I pray that their little hearts will be nurtured to do God’s will and their desire to serve HIM is strong and unbreakable.

I pray that they know HIS blood is thicker than any human family ties can ever be, which is really hard to say as a mother.  May the power and the grace of the Lord be with you today!
