Tackle it Tuesday
So this Tuesday, I’m still tackling my house. We have 3 walls in now, and almost all the laminate is put in… but there is a problem.
If you’ll look a little closer at the picture, you’ll see my lovely curio cabinet in the corner.
My precious Pysanka is leaning against the glass and I have to open the door.. catch the eggs and the glass vases w/o them falling and smashing like some already did! I hate to lose those.. so pray for a steady hand!
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
what are you tackling today?

Wow. That is going to be some chore trying to open the curio door without dropping the items. Good luck. Let us know the results.
It is looking so good!
You are making progress!
What a huge project!

Oh no! Good luck and I hope nothing gets broken, that would be heartbreaking!
I understand your concern. I hope it’s okay!
Ohh boy,
Are you able to put a fluffy towel/pillow down on the floor so if one of them drops they will not drop onto the hard floor?
Good Luck
It’s really coming along, isn’t it? praying for steady hands. How did it go?!
Oh now…good luck
Your house is looking so great. Lay down lots of blankets for security before you open that door!
I feel like I have my own balancing act going on… My day involves doctor visits for my son.
Oh, what a scary thing. Did you open the cabinet yet? It’s all looking so great! Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog! I’m really enjoying yours!

There’s so much to tackle over here, but I’m (still!) working on my basement. It’s a big job because the basement is a multifunctional space. Slowly, but surely things are looking better.
Praying for your steady hand, my friend!
Good luck on that delicate tackle:-)
Oh goodness! The floor looks great! The curio… doesn’t. My son tipped my curio cabinet over once, and ALL of my Grandmother’s old “pretties” were broken. I was SO sad, but thankfully my husband had it all cleaned up before I got home so I didn’t have to see it (and frankly I don’t remember all of what broke, I’m just glad my son only ended up with a concussion!!!) Let’s say he doesn’t pull furniture over on himself anymore.
PS: In answer to your question, I just use Paint Shop Pro.
Oh no, I see what you mean, that is going to be hard to open.
Thanks for stopping by, hope the broccoli salad turns out good!
YIKES! I hope you have a quick hand! I’ve gotten better about letting some things go (having a husband and 16 month old boy, things get bumped and dented) but loosing something like that would really upset me. I hope this post has a happy ending!!
Looking good! Hope you can save the Pysanka.
Thanks for the recommendation on This Is the Feast. I just realized my 8-year-old doesn’t know the history of Thanksgiving and think this would be just the book for him. I reserved it at the library.
Today we tackled a nature walk in 30 degree temps. It was chilly but fun.
Too bad someone wasn’t there to capture us (yes, mostly you!) saving the eggs! It must have been the spirulina and the delicious muffins giving us steady hand and super strength
O Lordie!!! Thankyou Jesus that did NOT fall….
Hugs.. A
I hope your pretties are safe my friend. Looking fabulous! And I love the flooring
)
oh NO! Did you open it yet? I would have been scared.
I know your going to love the new digs when your done. Just think of the outcome!
Have a great day.
