WFW ~ Rest
Welcome to the Home of Word-Filled Wednesday!
The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful word of our Father) through photo’s & a Bible verse!
——————–

And he will give you rest from all your enemies around you, so that you will live in safety. Deuteronomy 12:10
Funny, how some verses just pop out at you isn’t it? I love how God provided me with this verse, while I was reading his word. God Bless!
If You’d like to join us for Word Filled Wednesday, simply add your name to Mr. Linky (no need to put Mr. Linky in your blog), post your photo and Bible verse. (or feel free to add mine to your site) Than send a link back here so others can visit and have a word filled day! Please read the WFW page if you have any questions or are unsure if you have an appropriate post.

Looks like you have the perfect PORCH to enJOY His Rest but more important is that when the enemy seems to be surrounding you that you can stir up that same rest & assurance that you can live in safety…isn’t HIS WORD just so awesome! Happy WFW & thanks for the REST…I choose to SOAK in that TRUTH!!!
Wonderful verse, wonderful photo, especially in the cold of winter! “Safety.” I like that!

Beautiful! Love that image and scripture. Few things are more tranquil than sitting on a front porch (anytime of year). Thanks for sharing, Amy!
Great topic, Amydeanne! I know many of us are feeling mentally and physically frazzled from the whirl of the holidays and now are trying to find our routines again. So I love that version of rest. And, having fought some battles of my own with my own personal enemy, fear, I love the promise of Him giving my rest from my enemies. And that pic is great!
God bless you, girl, and as always, thanks for hosting WFW!
Amy, you have an amazing talent for these. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.
I love when a verse just comes when looking at a picture. That porch is restfull looking. I’m so thankfull that Rest is important to God.
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings
Now that’s a porch I’d love to sit on. I could get some good rest there. Beautiful verse and picture, Amydeanne. Nicely done! Thanks so much for hosting this! It brings such joy to my heart each week.
Oh, I just LOVE rocking chairs! (I collect them.) I’ve been looking and looking and looking for a photo of a rocking chair on a porch. This is amazing, and the verse that goes with it… awesome. Just what I needed today.
Happy WFW Amydeanne!
Great verse and picture to go with it. Gosh, to think of God’s rest. I know he truly desires that we partake in that promise.
So easy to get caught up in so many things.
Blessings to you this day♥
That sure suggests rest to me.
Lovely.
Beautiful picture and perfect scripture to go along with it.
To rest in the Lord so He will give me rest-what a wonderful thought that I am safe. Love the picture-the scripture goes well with it. thanks for sharing. Be blessed with a wonderful WFW
Beautiful – as always. I love porches and rocking chairs. I think we all would love to have some time to just sit, rock, and REST. Wonderful verse to go with it. Because we can find rest in our Lord. Thanks for your sweet encouragement this morning.
Blessings,
DeeDee
Love the verse, and what a PERFECT picture to go with it! All you need is a glass of lemonade and a good book
I want and NEED that CHAIR!!!! Love it. Happy WFW!
That is a verse that really just comes close to heart. God bless you for sharing that verse and hoping you are having a great Wednesday.
That’s a great verse! It’s amazing how some verses speak to you during Bible reading.
I wish I could grab my cup of coffee and walk out onto that porch and just sit. That verse was a lifeline to me last year when I went through a very traumatic situation being attacked by a group of people.
Hi Amydeanne! Wonderful verse…I know what you mean about some verses just popping out at you. Mine just popped into my mind yesterday as I was thinking about WFW.
I like how you’ve personalized your blog so much… it’s funny to see my name pop up unexpected like that! : )
Ah, rest. That just fills me with peace. Thank you for sharing this today!
what an amazing promise. Peace. Beautiful photo
Great photo to fit the verse! Beautiful!!!
Amy- you are such a blessings!
Love,
Tracy
Amen amen and amen sister! Blessings to you, and praying you are finding moments of rest today as you seek our Savior.
Beautiful photo! I love to be reminded of his promises… and speaking of promises…
As usual precious sister Amydeanne, this is just a beautiful Scripture-picture. I am so thankful that God does give us rest. And I agree with you, its funny how God’s word just jumps out at us at times. Today, the Lord spoke to me clearly, and well, I just didn’t have anything to say in response, as I still sit here in awe of Who He IS. ♥
Love you precious sister,
Sunny
When I read this I just want to curl up in his lap.
Great post.
Blessings, BJ

This was a great post. I’d love a porch like this one. Have a great day.
Great scripture!! It’s very encouraging. I have given you an award, please stop and pick it up anytime!!
Oooh I love those porches! And “REST”…..another one of God’s wonderful promises to us. Beautiful!
I love that porch, and the way you changed the colors so the chair seemed to be highlighted. The whole scene was great for your Bible verse. Thanks for hosting this.
Sue
The picture perfectly reflects the verse, and your WFW gives me such a sense of peace and comfort.
Great picture:-)
Beautiful scripture and photo Amy!!
Absolutely beautiful! If I had a favorite today – it’s yours.

I’d frame it and hang in in my mud room to see everytime we enter or leave the house.
What an incredible promise for this year of unexpected future. . .

Hi Amy,
I’m popping back to say I’m so glad you got the humor in my WFW post. Everyone was so serious…
The sign really is funny.
And in it’s own way it points back to the one who will never abandon us!! :0)
Ah, I am finally able to upload my photo and to publish my WFW post for this week! I kept getting error messages, even when I prepared another photo to upload.
Thanks for continuing the great weekly feature.

I am SO excited about WFW… although I must admit… I am not sure I know all the “tricks” to the trade. Would love some insight if you have a minute or two. My e-mail is zuckie-cookie@hotmail.com
My post is up for this week, but for some reason all my posts have been posting a day late?!?!?! Thanks for this wonderful WFW idea!
Hugs and God bless!
Oops!
I did this one, rather than the latest one. Better late than . . . .
