WFW – are you recognized?
Welcome to the Home of Word-Filled Wednesday!
The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful word of our Father) through photo’s & a Bible verse!
A quick question for everyone. I think WFW is more than just for Wednesday. I was thinking of changing to to World-Filled World! or Week Filled Word. Any thoughts? Or just leave it as Word-filled Wednesday?
——————–

Each tree is recognized by it’s own fruit..
Luke 6:44
We had an awesome service this past Sunday, and this was one verse that just stuck out at me.
Questions to chew on:
- Can God recognize you as His?
- Are you doing His will?
- What fruit are you producing?
God Bless!
If You’d like to join us for Word Filled Wednesday, simply add your name to Mr. Linky (no need to put Mr. Linky in your blog), post your photo and Bible verse. (or feel free to add mine to your site) Than send a link back here so others can visit and have a word filled day! Please read the WFW page if you have any questions or are unsure if you have an appropriate post.

I’ve been gone for such a long time…. it’s great to be back again…
I pray that I will have the kind of fruit in my life that pleases God.
I sure hope so Amy!! It’s good to be identified with our Savior!
Wow this is a great visual! A great reminder!
Beautiful!
Our commitment to Him is revealed in how we live.
It seems that Word-filled Wednesday is just fine.
Awesome, love you my friend.
Ummm…I will chew on this!
Blessings!
You’ve done it again! Wonderful Word Filled Wednesday post. Blessings to you and this ministry.
wow… you are so good at this! i have posted my entry… its my 2nd entry and i hope i am doing it correctly
hope that you can give me some pointers
may God continue to use you to inspire others to live for Him!
What a great photo! You are so talented. Amazing verse, too!
I like the picture going along with that. I know I want my fruit to be abundant.
I like the apple photo! I am striving to be recognized by my creator… what a great post! And as far as changing the name – I like it how it is. (But I’m not the type to complain if you needed to change it either!!) Bless you Amydeanne! You are truly using your gifts for the Lord and it is a blessing to all of us.
Oh wow. Perfect picture for this incredibly thought-provoking verse. Just what I want my fruit to look like.
I’ve been thinking about my fruitfulness a lot lately, especially in terms of patience. It’s a big challenge with 3 small kids and lots going on, but nevertheless, it’s a sign of Him working in my life, and I want that fruit to grow regardless of the circumstances. Thanks for another great WFW!
I like this nice entry. This is my first entry here.
I love that picture and the verse is a great reminder of how we should be examining our life.
You are so creative! I love it!
Happy WFW!
Beth
BTW … I like it being on Wednesdays because I do other Meme’s on other days, but whatever you choose is fine.
I love the black and white photo w/ the brilliantly red standing out – that is how our fruit should be…thank you for the thought provoking and convicting verse today. As far as changing the name of the meme I have no thoughts but I do like the idea. Maybe I will sit on it for awhile and get back to you…
Amy, your work is always remarkable. Thanks for sharing and for continuing to host all this time. I do love it on Wednesdays, as the single day makes me focus that much more heartily on it, but a week or world is wonderful, too.
By the way, I never did receive your note. We moved and maybe it went to the old address. Pop me and email and I’ll give you the new one.
Blessings,
Lisa
Once again, GREAT pic with verse! Our theme is related.
Thanks for being a great hostess Amy. Have a blessed WFW!!!
As always, your pic and verse are perfect together!!! It reminds me of the quote I once heard, if you were on trial for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you.
As far as the title my vote is to keep it as is, but that’s just cause I have my nav bar already set with this title. Also I think it is perfect in the middle of the week, like a dose of God’s Word to get you through the rest of the week, not sure if that makes any sense? LOL
Great WFW pic and verse. I vote for keeping it the way it is. You are so gracious to host this everyweek. Blessings
Hi Amydeanne! I don’t think I’m recognized (at least not the way I’d like to be) but your verse immediately made me think of my late aunt, Bell, so I have to thank you for that. Every memory I have of her is a happy one.
I like WFW just fine the way it is but I also like Word-Filled Week.
Thanks, sweetie, I love this; it’s such a blessing.
What a great verse and photo! And what a good reminder not only that our lives should be producing fruit, but that we should do a fruit inspection every now and then to make sure we are on the right track. Thanks for sharing. Happy Wednesday!
Marvelous girl! Be blessed today!
Powerful questions to ponder and examine. May we bear fruit pleasing to God always.
This is a great verse, Amydeanne. It leaves me with much to ponder, as well. Thanks for sharing this particular one today!
Happy WFW to you!
Love the apple because so often we are “tempted” to be complacent in our daily life. As always…. AWESOME!
Beautiful photo and verse and some really important questions. No matter what we say the word says, “we will know them by their fruit.”
Thank you for sharing.
Vickie
You pose some great questions for us to reflect upon. I am constantly asking myself if I am bearing any fruit. Today you lead me to exxamine myself yet again. Be blessed.
Great photo & verse, Amy! I love the way you left the apple red and the picture b/w. Beautifully illustrated verse, and wonderful food for thought. Praying I produce all the fruits of His Spirit.
I love your work, AmyDeanne… what a thought-provoking post! I do hope that I’m a producer of fruit that brings Him glory. And I pray that when the necessary pruning occurs, I am able to recognize it and rejoice, rather than complaining. Have a wonderful Wednesday.. (and I like the word-filled week concept, just because there are times when I think of something and by Wednesday, it’s gone…!)
You are truly amazing and you also give me something to think about….oh and me thinking…scary
Loved you verse today!!!!
How beautiful! I pray the answer is yes. May He know how much I love him by the fruit I produce.
I like WFW the way it is, but I think I would also like the opportunity to play along during the week. But whatever you think is best my friend! Thanks for all of your work hosting WFW!
Sweet Blessings Amydeanne…I went to sleep thinking on this since I had not left a comment & just stayed awake long enough to link.
Your wonderful graphic with this portion of scripture “Each tree is recognized by it’s own fruit..” with thought provoking questions…
I say YES…I am in HIS WILL but am I doing enough so that there is FRUIT…So I’ll bite on this…delicious, beautiful, shiney apple… oh, no…that’s what the first woman did that started all this mess…(lol)
I pray that I bear better FRUIT in my life that “they will know we are Christians by our love”…not a mixed basket.
You can see that your WFW presented many “worms” & stirred a
full gamut of ideas…which you truly know how to capture.
I think from glance at the comments that most people did not catch what I thought you were asking concerning WFW…change means new graphics…I see your questioning in being changing to
WORD FILLED WEEK may suit this better..I think you had a typo
and wanted WORD FILLED WORLD…not World Filled World…so as you can see I just changed the order of your second choice…
week filled word…to WORD FILLED WEEK and if the attempt was to change days as others seem to think…I saw this as you opening this up to be posted all week long so people who are busy on one day could do it another day but that deters visitors from checking back & visiting…I don’t know if you wanted to switch days like many are assuming but that is also why I have SUPER SUNDAY,
which is to start my week in the word…or worship…it is a combination of WFW and TSMSS and photography of scenes.
SUPER SUNDAY…SCENE, SONG , SCRIPTURE is meant for this!
I started it with a SCENE way back when I started blogging & did not know much about memes nor the ones that were out there.
Unbeknown to me, there was WFW & TSMSS! I joined the song
one first, not knowing how to do graphics. But my intention, at first was to post a scene & anyone could comment on what song or scripture comes to mind. Few joined me. Finally I created Super Sunday and I was warned, that not many like to do it on Sun.
But thankfully I have some that join me faithfully. It’s simple enough. So…my vote…
KEEP WEDNESDAY…but you can call it WORD FILLED WEEK!!!
May it bear much fruit as always! I look so forward to Weds. for this reason…it’s like midweek service. Bless you & thanks for the seeds of thought wandering around in my thoughts all night.
How about calling it “Word-filled Week” then it would apply to EVERYDAY of the week and you could still use the WFW.
GREAT POST today!
I love this! It reminds me of my post last week for Tuesdays Together in the Word, it was all about fruit!
Blessings!
Hey Amy, is there any way you can delete my Mr. Linky on 49? Because the computer screwed up and it posted to an old WFW instead of a new one. I reposted on Mr. Linky on 50 for the NEW WFW for today.
Sorry & Thanks!
As long as it’s still there I’m up for calling it anything! It’s TRULY one of the most prayerful and spiritual times of my week…reflecting with an image..I LOVE it!!
I LOVE this image and now I’ll be thinking on this one…what is my fruit? Can all the world “taste” it??
hhhmmmmmmmmm….well done girlfriend!
Beautiful photo. I like it as WFW. However, at the end of the day, it’s about what God wants you to do. Maybe WFW was the starting point to God’s bigger plan for you. God is always enhancing us and leading us to a broader horizon. So, just let God lead you. Whatever is said and done I be willing to support and participate the best way I know how.
Happy WFW!!
I love the photo! But what I love even more is the question you asked! I believe that God recognizes me as His own, but unfortunately I find myself in disguise every now and them. Thank you for the wonderful spiritual reminder!
I like Word-filled Wednesday best, because it distinguishes it as a special meme for Wednesdays. My two cents! :~D
I love this verse… it’s convicting… makes me think… to ponder.
The photography you’ve put with it is so fitting… and Beautiful!
Hey girl,
WHAT an incredible photo and perfect verse!
I wish you could teach me how to do photos like that one.
I’ve been out of the loop… and have missed yall so much…
Hopefully I’ll be back after the 1st. Have had company!
I enjoyed seeing some of the picture last week and hope I have signed up in time to take part Wed, Feb 4th. Thank you.
