Blessings Amydeanne…so skinny…like a bookmark!!! I love the trees & the verse to BE READY! All seasons, we must be ready…not too sure about the “preach it” part, but I see that as always sharing what Jesus has done for us as we “reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching”. Hope I don’t loose all my leaves before I’m able to do this with COMPLETE patience!!! He is so patient with me…so I too must be with others, especially those I’m teaching or like to teach something.
May our spirit always be ready to RECEIVE a teaching from Him through whatever source, may we discern when His Spirit is speaking to ours!
Thanks for a deep thought to reflect on from this letter to Timothy…

Amen for this. Yes we should be ministers of the word of Christ, confessing upon our mouths and prophesying for the building up of the body of Christ.

Wonderful WFW! We, Christ’s followers, need to be prepared and ready to preach the Word and to share the Gospel anytime. The next verse (2 Timothy 4: 3-4) gives us a warning about false teachings which seem to be popping up everywhere nowadays.
How perfect for fall! And, what a great reminder about seasons too.

Your picture and verse are perfect timing for changing of the seasons. A great reminder to be ready at all times for who or what comes across our path and always lift up the name of Jesus.
Great reminder….as the apostle Paul said…”always be ready with a reason to defend our faith…” We need to always be ready…keeping our eyes on Jesus. Thanks for the reminder.

I have to learn to heed this very word for I never know when I may be called upon to speak or preach. I must keep in step with the Spirit for that reason.
