Word-Filled Wednesday Dec 9
Welcome to the Home of Word-Filled Wednesday!
The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful word of our Father) through photo’s & a Bible verse!
I don’t often post videos for WFW, but I couldn’t resist this one today. Incase you didn’t understand what he was saying, it’s my 2 year old doing our current memory verse. We’ve been working on teach the children the 10 commandments.
Deuteronomy 5:6-8
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.
I know it doesn’t seem very Christmasy, but the truth is, teaching my children God’s Word is more Christmasy than any other gift I can give them. There is no point in parenting if we miss this vital bit of parenting is there? If I don’t teach my children that idos like Santa (among other things we get hooked on) aren’t gods, and can’t replace what the only True God can give us, there is no point. This is my Christmas gift to my babies this year.. teaching them the 10 Commandments! ![]()

Oh Amy, This was priceless!!! Yes, God word in us, GOD WITH US!!! Immanuel…
Thanks for sharing, he’s a cutie♥
I totally agree with you! Good going MOM! And what a cute cute cutie!!! The first verse my son learned was Luke 19:10!!! It was adorable hearing him say it –he was about 3 –it didn’t dawn on me that *I* could teach him until he began saying the one I was trying to memorize so I hopped on that ‘cue’ and we started learning!
Such a gift!
I guess I better find a pic for WFW! I love it so and have missed doing it…will work on that now!
