my top 10 reads of 2009
It was really hard to come up with this list!
There were so many books I wanted to read this past year! And so many I enjoyed. It was hard to decide if I needed to do several categories like fiction, non-fiction, Christian, non-Christian, and Children’s. I decided however to mix them all together because I enjoyed them for all sorts of reasons.
Honorable mention first is We Know What You’re Thinking by Darrell Bricker and John Write of Ipsos Reid. I know I have a larger American audience than Canadian, so I want to mention this one because I loved it and it gave me a lot of insight into Canada (Mr. C and I still discuss it in vague ways.. so the fact it is still infiltrating our conversations makes it a great book!)
So, without further adieu here is my top 10 list!
10. A Slow Burn by Mary DeMuth
9. Religion Saves: And Nine Other Misconceptions by Mark Driscoll
8. Love’s First Light By Jamie Carie
7. The Vanishing Sculptor by Donita K. Paul
6. Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie, Montana! by Ocieanna Fleiss and Tricia Goyer
5. The Parent Adventure: Preparing Your Kid for a Life with God, by Scott McConnell, Rodney and Selma Wilson.
4. Curse of the Spider King by Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper
3. 40 Loaves by CD Baker
2. Nothing But Trouble by Susan May Warren
1. Respect Dare, the by Nina Roesner

I always find your reading list inspiring because I can barely keep up with the daily bible alone without tossing into the mix a book!
