WFW – anxiety

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him Glad.

Proverbs 12:15 ESV

———————————————–

Have you taken the time to be in God’s Word today?  If you haven’t make the time.  You will find your heart and mind renewed and refreshed by letting God speak to you!  I know I do… and yes, even do it outside, with a yummy cup of ice coffee!

WFW is not about books, authors, artists.. it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word.

  • Thank you! This is timely for me. Going through a lot of changes and if I am not careful, I give way to anxiety. I participated in WFW for the first time today. You can find me here:

  • What a beautiful blog you have!

God’s Word is the best medicine there ever was, is, or is to come.

    Blessings!

  • Amy, what a beautiful post and what a beautiful pic to go with it… I always look forward to your graphics. Thank you for the reminder.
I’m always conscious of the words others say to me… may I be as conscious in bringing gladness to those who hear me. Sadly, it is not always so. What a great contrast to the One whose
    Word stands forever.

  • Beth:

I love your WFW designs. You do such a great job with them. I love the scripture too.

  • It must have been a God thing that I clicked back to your site today! I took part in the WFW last year, but “got busy” as so many of us do. A friend & I decided to blog our personal study time as a way to keep us accountable, and this week’s topic is worry & anxiety contrasted with trust and patience.

And today’s verse was Isaiah 26:3.

It couldn’t have been more perfect!

Thank you (again) for doing this each week. It has been such a blessing to me in the past and I know it will continue to be a blessing to me now and in the future!

Oh, and my post for today’s WFW can be found at http://blog.alexandari.com/wfw-isaiah-263/

  • Thanks AmyDeanne,

I have been dealing with Anxiety a lot lately.. and I hate that when i feel I need to feel close to God.. some times , those are the times when I feel the farthest away.. but your encouragement to stay in the word is strong.. Feeling are fickle.. but Gods words and promise are something you can stand firm on…
    Thanks for the encouraging word.

  • Amy:

I am easily stressed-out & have anxious thoughts a lot! I have my usual go-to scriptures about peace, but this one is a great one to remember, too! All the good words in the Word of God definitely help rid my mind of anxiety!

  • Toia:

    Just what I needed…Great WFW!!!!

  • I need this!! Sorry I could not join you today. Please send me the schedule again Amy.

    Blessings to you♥

  • Thank you for your prayers.

  • yea Amydeanne. that is funny how our post were so simular.. Gotta love it.. when God used his own little way through people to get his world out there..
    Its just Awesome.. !!!!

  • Lisa:

    Great verse! Happy WFW!

  • BTW, this is one of the best verses I’ve seen all day! ღ

  • Thanks for the reminder… it is what I need today….

  • I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed posting on WFW. Many times it has kept me in the Word when nothing else did.

  • lori:

    Girl…you did it again!
How many times have I been weighed down by anxiety when all the while ALL I had to do was give it to God? My friend reminds me OFTEN, “God is not a God of confusion…anxiety and worry are not of Him…” yeah, she’s a wise one. (I hope to be as wise as she is when I’m as grey as she is! :) )

You hit the nail on the head with this one….POWERFUL and I’m printing it off….that is as soon as I get to the store today to buy some new COLOR ink! ;) lol!

    hugs!
