Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be, Remind me that my days are numbered and that my life is fleeing away.
I think we sometimes forget this invaluable information. Our days are numbered. I don’t want to be morbid about that, but really this isn’t our home and our time here is so limited, so why do we make it such a waste so much time working towards things that don’t really matter?
Let’s work towards are heavenly home and the stuff that really matters!
God Bless!
P.S.

making music to the Lord!
Welcome to Word-Filled Wednesday!
What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God!
Psalms 92:1 ~ The Message

I love this picture.. My little man here is now 4. Since an early age he inherited his father’s gift for music. He can sing on key and has perfect pitch, (unlike his mother *cough cough*)
… but God loves the songs of our heart! Even if we can’t sing, or play instruments he loves to hear our hearts and voices pour out to him! Join with me today as I sing in my own voice that I know is pleasing to God’s ear!!
(ps. if you haven’t already, don’t forget to check out my September giveaway! It’s on the sidebar)
I also want to mention how much I appreciate and love your posts! I can’t tell you how much your comments and encouragements mean to me! Thanks for being a part of my bloggy friends! I feel truly blessed.

just grow…
Welcome to Word-Filled Wednesday!
He makes grass grow for the cattle,
and plants for man to cultivate–
bringing forth food from the earth:
Psalms 104:14

This was our weekend project last weekend; cleaning out the garden before the frost really hits bad (which it did this Monday). Our sunflowers grew so tall that I had “Grow” stuck in head all week. It’s amazing what produces out of a tiny seed and how we can harvest it for our benefit. I’m praying for God to let something good grow in you, that you may be harvested for HIS benefit!
(ps. check back tomorrow for a giveaway!)
